Thanks guys.I still need to install my fog lights and billet grille. For anyone thinking of painting their car I would highly recommend painting your mirrors.I am really glad I did.The body shop was impressed with the body work and prep job my buddy and I did.I can't find any stone chips or dings that we missed.I am very pleased with the outcome.Hope to see everyone that can make to Carlisle.

what kind of prep work did you do? I'd be interested in doing something similar like this. I'd like to save some money if I could. My Bullitt needs a paint job soon -_-

I removed all the lights.Plus the s281 wing, mirrors, license bracket, hood snorkels and tailight bezels. Then we hand sanded the whole car and all the loose pieces with 360 grit.We filled in all the stone chips and all the dings with spot putty. My buddy smoothed out the fenders where the badges and antenna were.It was pretty much ready to paint when we were done.

It seems like, at a bare minimum, your car has to have a different colored hood to roll with you guys.
