S*** does happen but it is really bad when you screw a customer out of 2k and then go to UPS and file a broken item complaint for the items that were insured for 1k each and then keep the customers old heads on top of that. So nick made on that deal but will lose his as* in the future I sure hope.

This sucks. I was going to order cams from him next year. Now looks like he is no longer going to get any of my business. Jake is a good guy. Know him from SVTP. Has an awesome car. Nick never was very helpful to me and never treated me with much respect but he knows his stuff so I just didn't care. But now seeing what kind of guy he is, he won't get my business if I can help it!

While I'm not trying to start an argument or stand up for Nick but if that guys shop would have properly packaged the heads this NEVER would have happened.

If you ship something to someone and it gets damaged in shipping who is the person responsible for contacting the shipping company? Whose job is it to insure the heads?

Shippig damage wasnt the only issue, the head job was absolutley horrible as well, the rant of excuses he posted on his site crying like a girl is reason enough to never send money that way.

Like I said I'm not standing up for the guy. He did admit to the poor head work and yes that stuff on his site is stupid but when John Tymensky uses his 2v heads exclusively I'd say he does a good job.

He messed up, the guy got his money back. I won't send $2000 his way for heads but I wouldn't hesitate buying cams or smaller dollar amount items as his cam selection is the best on the market.

Shipping is an issue that can be worked out, and the heads should have been insured while in shipping. I personally dont like that he sent out bad heads. Jake is lucky that L&M looked them over carefully before installation or it could have been very very bad.

WBG: Agreed. The cams don't even come from him. Just his specs. Bullet grinds his cams and they come in bullet racing boxes. So I have faith in his specs, just not in his work anymore.

Honestly after that thread id have more faith in putting a blindfold on and sticking a diegrinder in the ports then having mhs touch em, especially after he said he could care leas if he ever did 4 valve heads again.
