Default Need help with mods!!!

Hi! I just bought a 1999 Mustang GT from a private seller. It is in mint condition and has only 54k miles and in a rare electric green color. I love it! The original owner I bought it from did alot of work to the car already including Bassani exhaust, H pipes, Cold air intake, BBK throttle body, Black/Chrom FR500 wheels, Cobra R 2000 carbon fiber hood, Black Widow II bodykit with Cobra fog lights, Eibach Pro Kit lowering springs, Steeda Tri Ax Short throw shifter, etc.

What can I buy and install on my mustang to make it AS FAST AS POSSIBLE for the least amount of money and not compromising too much mpg? Please send any suggestions!! Chips, mods, whatever.

Thank you guys!!!

4:10 gears or 3:73 gears will be IMO the biggest kick back in the seat feel, but will lower your MPG (especially on the highway). You should also look into getting a tuner.

Tune/tuner, then final drive gears if you like...

Before you make your car fast, remember you need to turn and stop.

1. What tires are you running?
2. What suspension mods have been done?
3. Have any brake upgrades been done?

I am guessing none on 2 & 3, but tires are a critical component and not to forget the all important driver-mod.

Just wanted to correct your first sentence. I'm sure it was an honest mistake

It depends on whether you wish to learn to tune your engine yourself (which is far from rocket-science), or want to have someone else do it and perhaps diddle around a bit after that...

I'd like to do it myself. I have two good friends who have mustangs and can teach me because they know all of that. They race every other weekend.

There's a sticky at the top of the forum called mods for beginners. You need to read that.
