$300 doesn't seem bad at all.

If you knew what you were doing pulling a trans should only take about 3-4 hours.

300s a great price, I would probably actually let a shop work on my car for that price and save myself some time lol.

It takes awhile to jack em up and get em on jackstands thats the hardest part. I got no liffffffft brahhhhh and thats also removing 1 long tube header through tubular k frame. I also like to waste time and stair at things. When we were doing steves i was slackin off ten got a call from the commader and chief crackin te whip an the tranny was installed ad torqued in like 25 minutes.

$240 is about 3 hours of shop labor. That is 3 hours for someone that has all the right tools, lifts, tranny jacks, and a zillion attempts under their belt.

Translation .... This job will take me all week.

First, $300 is a damn good price on that job. Secondly it's not a hard job if you have the tools and it's really easy if someone has taken it out before. See you run into crap like exhaust nuts that have become one with the stud, a starter that still has the upper bolt installed. If someone has been in there before, most of that crap is already loose.
