Default Centerforce clutch installed

Spent the day yesterday getting my Centerforce clutch installed. Also put in a new Ford Racing firewall adjuster, quadrant, TOB and pilot bearing. Also had the stock flywheel resurfaced. So much better now. Pedal still feels stock and the travel is not as long. I can already tell it has a ton more holding power then my stocker which was beginning to slip. I went back and forth between this and the Spec 2, but I heard way too many horror stories about the Spec so I pulled the trigger on the Centerforce DF. Still need to get some miles on it before I can get into it, but first impressions are great.

Good call on not going spec...a lot of bad experiences floating around. My buddy had a CF clutch and loved it.

Summit racing...best price I could find and I looked everywhere. Overall the clutch is fantastic. Now almost 1000 miles on it and it holds strong and acts like a stock clutch as far as feel.

I LOVED driving my buddy's centerforce DF clutch... The friction zone was awesome and it grabbed great. I wanted to rip it out an put it in my car before he sold his car

My King Cobra wasn't stiff at all, very comparible to stock.
I drove my uncle's '98 and he had a CDF clutch and it felt great. Good buy.
