Default 03 gt gas pedal question

Quick question that probably pertains to 99-04 GT owners...

Does your gas pedal seem somewhat close to the floor? Seems like my clutch is normal and my brake pedal is about an inch or so deeper than the clutch, and then the gas pedal is pretty far down. Just picked the car up used and noticed it, can someone tell me if its normal? thanks

The gas pedal actually has a lot of extra cable in it. You can pull the slack out at the top of the pedal and somehow secure it to take out the slack. Someone on here had a write up about it, think they used some tubing held together with small hose clamps. I used multiple zip ties on my 03 v6. It'll wear your foot out though on long trips having to come so far back off the gas pedal.

Didnt really notice, although, being 5'7 I find I have the seat pretty far forward to comfortabley reach the gas pedal without feeling like I'm stretching for it

The clip was fully ripped out of the carpet, or is the bottom plate just showing?

Not looking to fix it or anything, just making sure everything is normal

Is there a big hole in the carpet or is there just a small slit where the clip used to be?
