Default Bigger Fuel tank possible?

Hey guys long story short I need a new tank for my 2000 GT. I can't stand how small the fuel tank is on this car, so I was wondering if there was anyway to get a bigger tank or am I pretty stuck with the factory tank?

Weld a massive sump on it, a full tank usually lasts a while they have a 15 gal tank i think.

Yeah mine emptys too fast haha 15 gallons isn't much. But I was hoping not to cut up a new tank. Nothing aftermarket huh? Wish the 20 gallon from my 69 would fit this car.

If you don't care for trunk space you could always get a racing fuel cell

Well, no lol but even when it was it wasn't enough. Maybe 250 miles to a tank 300 if I pushed my luck. Now its gunna be worse with the new motor and having to get gas twice a week is just annoying. No big deal if there's no way, just wanted to make things easier on myself. I love my mustang and fuel mileage is what it is.

250 really? When I'm hitting it on the highway, track, or street I'm lucky to get 120-150

With 2:73's, 271 miles got me to the gas stations, 273 miles got me to call my wife. Twice. actually.

If you can't deal with that, getting a bigger tank isn't going to help your problems OP.

You're think about the problem upside down.

Getting a bigger tank will most certainly solve my issues haha. But seems that its not possible without a lot of money.
