Default So Many Wheels...

Havent been on the forum in a while and really looking to improve my mustang. Christmas has brought a tuner, CAI, and exhaust but I really feel like wheels would complete the look over the plain bullets. Looking for any suggestions or any tips on where to find a decently priced set, I REALLY like the look of the saleens and the fr500s but everywhere I look they are pretty pricey, any help would be much appreciated; I really forgot how great the fourm is!

I like the bullit's but the Salean's are great too. It's your choice in the end.

FR500's are the best on these cars imo. And 17's fill up the wheel wells better than 18's also.

Whatever you do, make sure you get a staggered set like 17x9 up front and 17x10.5 out back. I went with the 17x9's all around on my car, and I regret it. Currently looking for some deep dish wheels to wrap in 315's.

How would a smaller wheel fill up the wheel well better than a larger one?

Even though the tire and wheels together are within a 1/10th of an inch from being the same size (with 275/40/17's and 275/35/18's), the 17's have more rubber showing, which gives a more full, sporty look and makes the wheel wells look fuller. I guess I should have put "imo" after that part, I apologize.

Don't get me wrong, I like 18's on New Edge's as well. I'm not knocking on anyone's car. It's all good.

The GT4's are a rare find on the new edges and yet they look so cool

^bingo!

that said tho, on your color IMO a satin/stealth black wheel looks great. tcstanger on here just got a set of stealth fr500's last night and I think we're putting them on tomorrow sometime so i'll snap some pics of it.
