get some old 15" v6 wheels, mount up some 235/60/15 MT ET street radial on there and you will hook and not have a gigantic tire bringing you down

I borrowed some wheels from a friend, the tires were too big for my setup.. I knew this an tried it anyway. It helped slightly over street tires, but I went faster on a previous date on street tires. Bogged the car down too much off the line.

Point is, tire size does matter. and 15x10s might not help you, especially with 3.73s

Makes sense.. Guess I'll be on the lookout for some v6s lol. Thanks for saving me the $450 I was about to spend on some tires that wouldn't have helped much. I re-read his ad and they were 28" tires also which through my research most agreed was too big anyways. Only thing left is to work on my trap speed.

God...this forum is depressing as ****.

Glad I grew up and bought a better car so I don't have to associate with all the losers here.

Also:

EDIT: Got to thinking about how depressing this thread is and wanted to clarify that my post was sarcastic in nature, I still own my '99, and I don't think everyone here is a loser. I didn't want an Internet-Suicide on my conscience.

My legend has been told across the seas, high in the mountains, and in the deepest valleys.

There is a huge thread about him bitching like a little girl because his wife would't give him any...quite hilarious LOL

What prompts people to come on a public forum and discuss that openly is BEYOND me.

It went from funny, to "that really sucks for you" to that awkward "stop telling me so much" kind of thing.

And the fact he seems proud of it makes it funny again.

Maybe that's why he bought a GT500? Make him seem like a man again to his wife LOL
