Default I'm back!!

What up guys? Well, been in Korea for 6 mths working my tail off. For the last 3 mths I haven't been able to even get on a computer but that's over now. Just wanted all my fellow brethren to know that I'm still alive and kicking and will be on here more to talk some (you know what) with you guys. Yes the Soldier is back!

A lot of guys have been asking what ever happened to my car last year. I have to say I was very, very dissapointed. As some of you know I did a massive re-build last year. After 2 engines (in less than a year) I bought a forged bottom end from dwtjr (thxs again). I also bought some cams off ctgreedy (you're the man) and a couple more goodys. The guy fixing my car also worked at a dealership so he had very limited time. The car sat from Mar 23 until Oct 10. I really wasn't worried cause after two engines in less than a year I wanted it done right and I also had to buy a part here and there (sh** got exspensive quick). Well anyway finally picked the car up on Oct 10. Immedeiatly I knew something was wrong. The car was making a loud clanging sound. I took the car to a guy whom I should have had fixed the car in the 1st place and he informed me that the cams that the guy put in the car somehow came loose and really screwed some stuff up. Luckily the bottom end was spared. You guys are probably asking why didn't I sue or take his head off. I did recoup some compensation but I got kicked in the ba**s on this one. Now the car is in the shop (speed shop in St Louis). I've taken out the damaged cams and replaced them with some HP 292 cams. Took off the cracked manifold and replaced it with a eddy vic jr intake and 6061 plenum. Also I will be running dual focus fuel pumps along with MMR fuel rails. With my setup below and the new add on's I had better be at the 450 rwhp mark or I'm gonna light a match to this car to put it out of it's misery. My advice to everyone out there modding your car. Use a reputable shop..... Get a warrenty... Most importantly...........NO SHORTCUTS!

Welcome home and greetings from the newb contingent Soldier. Thank you for serving in our defence
Man I hate that your engine got hosed. Sounds like it will soon be turning heads, droppjng jaws and kicking some serious *** though. Excellent advice on the No Shortcuts rule. I lost a 351 C years ago to a jack-leg "mechanic" on a simple ring job. Thought he was joking when he handed me a box of parts and said "I couldn't figure out where these went".
