I've been debating on getting a handheld tuner, but I don't think it will benefit me at all with my current mods. My mods are the following "performance wise" k&n filter, Steeda Pulleys, bassani o/r X, Borla stingers cat back. I'd appreciate anyone's input on this.

No I don't have after market gears, Or a CAI.

To be completly honest I like to do things the right way and make sure I research and have all the right parts to do the job. With that being said I swapped rear end gears to 3.73 and knew I would need a tuner to recalibrate the speedo. So found a used SCT tuner for 300 dollars , got my gears installed and loaded my canned tune and wasn't impressed. The gears feel good and give the car more get up and go , but dont feel any difference between having the tune and not. Only way to get the true potential is to get it dyno tuned or maybe have someone write you a tune ........ I believe it's another 300 bucks to dyno tune on top of the cost of the tuner. As you well know I'm sure it adds up rather quickly. Good luck.
