Hello, hope I am writing in the right place...

My car is a 03 Mustang GT AUTOMATIC with 97K miles going all good but for one thing.....and its major to me .

if I try to kick the pedal to the metal doing 60mph, I can get good hit, good spin etc.
even going 40-30 20mph, BUT if I try to do so when the car is stopped

it will struggle for 2-3 seconds, with some sort of gargling sounds ( it's like i am on breaks and trying to accelerate ) then after like going 5-10mph or so it will hit hard and do it's real thing.

MSD coils
new refurbished injectors
new ford racing pi intake
air intake
mufflers ( by old owner )
headers ( by old owner )
some after market blue colored crank sensor (I think ) ( by old owner )
Diablo tune

errors in the car. (according to dtc scan by diablo)
1-catalisers (leak in the exhaust)
2-fuel cap is loos (o ring broken)

what could be the reason for this bad launch ? any help plz

Sounds like you have an issue in the transmission. Does the car have an aftermarket torque converter?

 

Damn after reading that again it sounds like the traction control is on and working!

 

Lol yeah, now that you mention it it really does.

 

well.......the traction unit is broken for over 4 years now. bought the car with the unit broken (the old owner said it might be broken unit or broken sensor) in either case i never fix it, and i really dont think it's working because..... when it's raining , or driving over wet roads, the tires will keep spinning and no control what so ever, I had to counter steer the car since I bought it , and you might say i am used to this now LOL (the ABS light ) is always on and had to take the bulb out, and the traction control light never come on (yet I checked the bulb to be fully functioning )

 

not sure if I can call this good news or bad, but I tried to scan the car today , and got all these codes ...

p1151 lack of h02s21
p1131 lack of h02s11
p0457 evaporative ...
p1409 EGR vacuum
p1131 lack of h02s11
p0156 02 circuit (bank 2)
p0133 02 circuit slow response
p0455 evaporative emission
p0156 02 circuit (bank 2)
p0133 02 circuit slow response
p0455 evaporative emission


yep some of them are repeated not sure why

 

The codes that jump out at me are the lack of ho2s11 that translates to 02 sensor 1 on bank 1 which is one of the O2's the ecm needs to adjust properly
