I searched and found many threads about putting a shiftboot on an automatic and it being possible but none really say which boot is needed just says a boot from a manual. so can i just order a shift boot from ebay and it will work? i found a nice shift **** that i want but will not look right if i dont get a boot on it also

 

Yes, the Ebay shift boots work fine. I bought mine on Ebay (black stitch suede m/t boot $15) and I bought the shifter **** from UPR ($40). Relocated a hidden momentary switch for the OD under the shift boot on the right side, you just have to know where to press the boot.
