How important is The New Tune Required when changing out camshaft on a 4.6?

 

Depends on the stage/cam spec?

 

Reason I ask, my install went great, no problems, took my time, fired it up, idles great, touch the gas and it dies, the smell of gas fumes is overwhelming. I have a tuner, Diablo is creating a new tune, hoping it resolves the issue. Thx for the reply
