Just drained the oil and coolant. Not sure about the colors?
You know what, I've never thought to even look at this site's how-to section. Checking it now- holy crap this is bad. I managed to find the page you're referring to, and the procedures aren't even Mustang-specific, much less engine specific. It might have made more sense if it was engine specific, because V6 models of this era do actually have a bleeder screw (but it's not at the water pump).
But no, the author pulled general information from various sources, primarily an EricTheCarGuy video, where he's working on a Honda. Good video, but inappropriate for a write-up that claims to be Mustang-specific. Almost every step of the article includes information that doesn't apply to these cars. Somebody who knows what they're doing needs to go through the article (and probably some of the other articles as well) and edit them.

Yeah, I had no idea that the site's how-to articles were so misleading. I'm gonna try to figure out who to contact about that.
In the meantime, get yourself a service manual for your car and check out ChrisFix on YouTube. Most of his recent videos (over the past 2 years or so) have featured his '98 GT, and he's always very thorough. (Unfortunately, his coolant videos precede the Mustang. But they're still worth watching anyway.)
