What size do I need?
Hello,
I am looking to get the flowmaster super 44s for my 2000 Mustang GT to replace the stock exhaust. Needing to know what size I need to get on the muffler? I think I will need a 2.5" inlet and a 2.25" outlet so I can get a 2.5"-2" adapter. I plan to clamp where they join so that I can remove it as I need if I need.

I mainly just need the size of the stock exhaust tubing and if that is measured OD or ID. I can make everything else work.
I wanna say the stock exhaust is 2.25 inside diameter. That would make it 2.5" OD. I cant remember for sure though. But your better off to go get yourself a diameter tape ( yes they make those ) and measure the OD of what you have. Subtract .25 for the wall thickness and thats your ID.
