Probably should have posted this a while ago. Just ordered the TI package from Brenspeed and I'm wondering how any of you guys are doing with the same setup and his tunes. I'm in CA and got his 87, 89, and 91 octane tunes in an SCT x-cal 2.

I have the TI directly from Demolet, I used his tunes until this week when I installed the Bamachips 93 tune. I've heard nothing but good things about Brenspeed's tunes so you should be good to go.

 

So, no one has a Tunable Induction CAI and is using Brent's tunes?

 

I'm using Brent's tune, just not with a TI. I've got the WMS HVI with ram air box, and using a custom 93 octane tune from Brent and it's awesome. I've been smiling for the last two days straight.

 

You can't go wrong with it, go for it. Brenspeed has a good rep.

 

Viking, how does the 93 Bama tune compare to the TI/SCT tunes that come with the kit. Is it worth the extra 75 bucks, the CAI/Tuner would be my only mod.

 

I'm using the Brenspeed tune with the Demolt and it's great. Also better than the canned tunes that come from Demolet (where i bought my Intake direct).
If I had to do it over again i would have bought my tuner and intake direct from Brenspeed.
Their later tweak/mods tune prices are better also.

 

Don't have the TI CAI, but I got a JLT2 + tunes from Brenspeed.I'm sure they're comparable.What a improvement.Best bang for buck on these cars.I initally ran the 89 tune,but am running the 93 tune now.Been real pleased with Brenspeeds 'canned' tunes.All I'll need for my daily driver.

 

I'm using the C&L with the Brenspeed 93 tune and am very pleased with it. I've tried one other but I prefer the Brenspeed tune. You can't go wrong.

 

I just installed today a brenspeed c&l x-cal 2 package and can i say DAM am I happy. I dont think the cai is as important as the tune, they all supply more air than our throttle body can take, a good tune is where the performance is.I too am in California, Northern Cal and I had bent do a special tune where the tranny hold its rpm for 10% longer before its shifts and let me tell you, nothing but fun.
