Default question about powerstat

I just purchased a 160 powerstat for my 06 mustang gt & it didn't come with directions. Anyone know where the thermostat is located. It doesn't appear to be in the usuall location. Is is in the housing that connects the 2 large hoses together?
Thanks for any help

It's not on the top of the engine like the older cars. The housing is on the drivers side front, midway down the engine, and it has several hoses on it.

The thermostat is mounted upside down. Be careful to get the o-ring gasket in properly when you replace it .

Do you have your computer tuned for that temperature? Replacing the thermostat is just part of the job. If you want the fan to come on at the appropriate time for a 160 degree thermostat then the computer needs to be reprogrammed.

Thanks

Yes, I have a Diablo Sport Predator Tuner. I bought it used off of ebay for a good price but it didn't come with a manuel. Under the fan speed option, it isn't clear on how to adjust it, it just gives you a series of ranges but not in temps.
