Need Help PLEASE!!!
I decided to go with a CAI, but the C&L with the tuner is $675 is it really worth the extra $120 over the other systems with the tuner included??? Also, I wanted to know if 4.10 gears would be overdoing it for a Daily Driver... thanks in advance for your opinions, I don't feel like getting ripped off again (120 dollars extra for same stripes becasue I didn't shop around) (Stripes not pictured yet...)
octane depends on the tunes you get.
bamachip gives you options. you tell him what octanes you can get at your pumps.
he normally gives you a 87 perf, 93 torque and 93 perfomance. If you dont have 93 you can get 91 or 92.

$675 seems a little high for a C&L/Tuner combo even if it is C&L. I went with JLT which is just as good just not quite as pretty and I've had no issues. I scored mine for $525 from Evolution. As far as 4.10s they are just fine for a DD IMO and I do alot of hwy driving. Evem 4.30s are would be fine for someone who does mostly city driving. And if your wondering about gas mileage I haven't really noticed a difference. Maybe a 2-3 MPG loss. I think 4.10s are just right for this car and should have at least been optional from the factory.
The C&L is cosmetically 'nicer', but they all have about the same performance gains.
Went with a JLT2 myself & painted parts to match car.
Looks good to me.
