Default Non PI Supercharged

Ok, Ive looked in here for information on putting a Eaton M112 off of a 03 Cobra on my 96 Gt NPI 4.6. I cant seem to find too many links or avenues I can take too get this thing put on. I am a very good fabricator so if I have to Ill make the brackets and intake , but Im trying to get around that. I just got this car two weeks ago and the 3rd and 4th syncro fork broke, so I got a Tremec 3650 out of a 03 Gt to put in it. Now I have the 150mph in third gear problem. Which is hard to get into when I got the shifter rigged up enough to test drive it. And yes its rigged because the correct shifter for it hasnt showed up yet, so I used the T45 shifter and some hose to get my fix. Any help would be great Thanks Rodney of Waderacin.[

hm i had a 97gt for eight years. bought it brand new, did gears, shifter, alum driveshaft, control arms, cat pipes, centerforce clutch. tried nos 5171 kit, got the svo eaton supercharger for it too. bottom line save yourself alot of money and agony, ditch the non pi engine. karkraft sells complete pi engines cheap. better yet go drive the 05 up stang. i did and i kicked the 97 aside like a dead dog. bobn

Why's this in the 2005+ S197 GT section [&:]

I would try in the other 4.6 L section, we are running way different cars.

Good luck with your modding quest!
