Default Zex Nitrous systems

anyone heard of them before? are they any good? should i go ask in the nitrous area?i searched already in old topics but didnt find anything. well my dad wants nitrous for his 06GT stang, and this Zex kit seems pretty striaght forward and too the point for installing. but a few people he has talked too said to Not get the Zex system. the majority of people he has talked to are retailers who dont sell the zex systems, mainly dallas mustang guys, but in my personel experience is that most the time they dont know what there talkign about, so has anyone used them? anybody know someone who used them? good feedback? yes? no?

thanks anyone who answers

BTW, my dad loved those gears i got him for xmas if anyone remembers my old thread

There are several guys on here (and m odularfords) who have the Zex kit. I think it's great if you want a simple, easy-to-set-up nitrous kit for a good price.

Is it the absoloute best option? No. I would rather peice together my own setup, but the advantage of the Zex kit is that it doesn't require any nitrous expertise to install.

Just be sure to get a nitrous tune for the car! You don't want to be spraying Nitrous when you are running a performance tune with really advanced timing.

PM rygenstormlocke or scrmng on the 4.0L Specific forum. I think they both ran Zex before they went forced induction. I know rygen has a lot of info on the pros and cons.

Good Luck!
