Has anyone got the zex kit and threw the 175 jets in? did the intake stay together?

Intake will stay together, unless you get fuel puddling in the intake and it pops, then your intake can become pieces. It's all about the timing and a tune, the zex kit will maintain it so it won't go to rich or lean but you have to set everything else up right to make it run and run safely. colder plugs and tune. Good thing about nitrous, your not hitting it all the time or constantly, so it's not constantly putting a wear on your internals. A 175shot should be around 130-150HP to the wheels, try not to go over 450rwhp on stock internals though. i would also gap your plugs down to .32-.35 so the nitrous doesn't blow the spark out.

oh, you will need to upgrade your fuel pump also, maybe your injectors too.

Yeah I was wondering about this as well.Im runnining the 125 ZEX shot & love it but was wondering about how much more I could go on the stock pump. Will the stock pump handle a 150 shot or is 125 the most we can go with a stock pump?

What have you done with your tune when you run the bottle on the 125? You get spark plugs also?

with 125 and up, i would upgrade the pump, it's better to be safe than sorry. for tune, i would buy another one from your tuner to have it set up for it or run your 87 tune, with91-93 octane, if you only have 91, i would then bump it down a few degrees. If you test it out and hear any knock, stop the nitrous, bump it down a few more degrees. Also keep checking all 8 plugs and read what they are telling you, if they have alot of black soot, shiny or shiny specs, melted, rainbow lookingthere's something not right. Also if you think it's knocking, don't sit there and try to listen to it or anything like that, stop the nitrous right then and check things out.
I asked Brent from Brenspeed, if my 75 shot with my 91 tune but using 93 octane would besufficient and he said yes or i could just bump it down a degree or two but i will have to use 93 octane.
With a 75 shot, plugs wouldn't really be needed but 100 and up, i would definitley buy them-HT0's, if you can get a gapping tool and gap them to .32-.35, that would be best, to much gap and the nitrous will blow the spark out like a candle and it will make you think s**t just broke, then you will gap them.

It's probably at it's limit, as long as everything looks and runs good, you are probably good for now. Any higher i would definitely change it out.

Thanks, thats really what I was wondering. I have been running the 75 shot for year with no problems. I use the 91 tune -2 degrees when squeezing. Before April, I am going to purchase some Autolites and the gapping tool to up it to 100. They sau the stock pump should be good to 125. Are you using a warmer? It's also on my list. However, since it's warming up out hereI may not need it by the time I race in April. I kind of don't want to invest too much in NO2 since I will be purchasing an S/C beginning of next year. Just want to be safe.

Have you guys seen the plate the NX is making?
