Default More mods

The last few weeks i've really been wanting to go back to the track to see what kind of times i can run... I already listed the mods i have you can check out the "New Times" posted by me to see my mods. Anyways right at 3 weeks ago i went to the track to prove a freind wrong about the 3vavle cars...He's a LS1 owner. He thought his car would run better than mine with the same mods pretty much, and he was running some sticky tires too. I went 12.17 at 111 with a 1.9 60ft... Today i ordered a set of Tokico d-specs, BRM LCA brackets, ZEX w/plugs&windowswitch, and i am going to order a drivshaft and another set of Charge motion plates... I currently wrote a threadasking what driveshaft is the best deal i would really like to know what vendor would be best to buy from, so the faster the post the faster i would feel right about whichshaft to order. I hope this additional 2,500$ will put me in the low 11's consistantly or maybe even do the unthinkable 10.99's @ around 120ish with about a 1.60 60ft. Oh yeah i was wondering how much does doug @ breenspeed charge for tunes?

Low 11's and high 10's are going to be tough... How big of a shot will you be running? Im not sure on how much time you will be saving on a drive shaft but im sure it will help being lighter and smoother. If i remember right one pound of rotation mass is equal to seven punds of stationary mass. I have also hear that a light weight drive shaft is eqal to 15-20rwhp.. I dont know how true that is but i hope it helps. Good luck

I went low 12's on steet tires, i know the heads and cams will love the 150 shot i just hope the bottom end will hold up until i try for that 10sec pass, i got a spec stage 4 for my bday yesterday also. itraded around fora cobra fuel pump w 39# injectors., i got the live lock and two step a week ago, also purchased the BMR full tubular kw' arms. That much more shaved weight will really helpwith weight transfer.I'm not going to the track again until i install all my new stuff, and get two good tunes, one for N/A and 1 for the gas. I think if some people can make 500rwhp with a superssharger or turbo it should handle a few passes with a 150. I am also hoping to run mid 11's on motor. If a rod happens to say uncle i got a set of steel rodsandsome forged flat tops waiting to sub in the game in the garage. I just hope after work i can make enough time to throw my new suspension and other stuff in.
