I have been toying with the idea of a supercharger or doing a stroker kit. I was wondering what kind of power different stroker kits put down and what the prices are, including install if possible. I really like the feel of superchargers, but i would like to go n/a unless it is just ridiculously more expensive; i actually just drove a 2007 shelby gt500 (the speedo wrapped around very fast). If anyone has one of these in i would appreciate any feedback, ie dyno, cost, pros-cons. thanks

It isnt really a common project...I want to do one myself...Kits are in and around 2500...and its about 10-13 hours of labour for a shop to install it.

Power wise, not much difference...30HP...MAYBE?!?
But the benefit comes when it is time to supercharge...because the stroker kit is all forged internals...and you've made more space in the chambers, allowing for more air...which means you can run BIG boost numbers and everything will be able to handle it...

Its not something you do for a short-term power jump, its more of a step in installing a blower, becuase it makes it more reliable.

 

I got my stroker kit for $2125 from Eagle. rated 850-1500HP

as far as HP gains i have no clue. Install will be around 2grand but im not 100% sure becuase mine isnt installed yet
