Rear end girdle?

Default Rear end girdle?

At what point do you need a rear end girdle?Im deffently doing one on mine due to future mods(new motor) putting me at 750-800RWHP(on the bottle).But at what point would a girdle be a good idea?

I've got one, it was $199. i've got the FRPP version. I don't know what point it would be a good idea but, why not? It looks better than the stock POS.

I have one too and most just have it put on when they do gears, dont know at what HP its needed but I would say you need one

I will change it the day I change the fluids. Might as well, and from what I read, it makes it easier to change the fluids, as there is a drain plug at the bottom as well. And I want the FRPP one for the looks as well. I know it will be a little more expensive, but I want that FRPP insginia on it.

I think he means load bolts for the bearing caps, which should allready come with any girdle. Be aware that not all girdles for the ford 8.8 will clear the stock panhard bar. There are even fewer that will clear an aftermarket bar. The ford racing one clears, but you need the one specific for the 05up mustang, part number ending in G2. the lpw girdle also clears.
