Default These cams?

What do you guys think about these cams? Im not really planning on doing cams any time soon but this guy is selling some of these cams for under $500 brand new. If I was to do cams they will be with ported heads, but I think I really want some nitrous cams b/c im planning a 75-100 shot after christmas.

I don't know if I would do it. With my car, I try to find the best deal, but I also don't want something dirt cheap because I just wouldn't trust it. But yeah, if we knew what cams you were talking about I'm sure you would get a better answer!

Did you read all the details about what you need to do along with the cams?
Change adjustable timing gears to fixed
Change valve springs (assuming you'll include with ported heads)
if you don't change gears, re-program or different pistons
(if you don't change gears, they'll probably self destruct with increased spring pressure)
Increased compression ratio required (can mill heads, but will effect piston to valve clearance)
So it looks like you'll need new timing gear sets and new pistons, and a complete re-tune.
Problem is, from what I've read here, you won't get the net gain in HP you're expecting for all that work and cost. You've done the mods that are going to get you most of the power you're going to get short of going FI.

Cool thats what I was looking for. I know that these stock cams are good for lots of hp but I figured since this guy was selling these for under $500 brand new I might as well check it out.

The reason I want cams is for the sound not just for the hp that I MAY be able to pick up.
