whats up everyone?

i just put my C&L and Brenspeed 93 tune on my car last night. i love it. though it seems when im breaking in neutral or sitting at the light the rmps drop down to around 250 then jump up to 750 then down then up and finally situates around 800. my question is... is there a way i can adjust this so it settles without fluctuating? ive already set it at 800 and 900 but it didnt seem to help much.

my other question is... what would be the best setting for max performance (timing, wot?) if it helps. ive got an off road h pipe and boom tubes.

interesting....so you're saying your
idle rpms didn't fluctuate (stock), but
do now with a cai + tune? that would
indicate something with the tune.

you will want to go over the install and make
sure everything is tight and no air is getting into
the intake system except through the filter

i'm pretty sure, there's nothing you can change with
the tuning device to fix that. it will have to be
done by your tuner

yeah it fluctuated stock. but not near as much. it would fluctuate like 150 to 200 rpms but now its like 500 to 600. my buddys 05 does the exact same thing.

check all the clamps at the mass air sensor unit, Mine did the same thing after about a week on the car, Turnes out my clamps came loose and the sensor wasnt getting a consistant reading.

When I first installed Brenspeed CAI and Tune mine did the same thing.I checked all the fittings and such. There is a breather hosethat goes from the intake to the passenger side valve cover. The coupling between the hose and the intake (a little brass item) was loose. I epoxied that in and then put a new hose on, replacing the stock one. Problem went away.
