Default driveshaft issues

I'm in the process of swapping out my stock driveshaft for a spydershaft. I've run into quite a troublesome issue. It seems my driveshaft is suck in the rear pinion flange and I've got no idea how to get it out. All 6 bolts are removed and it is completely unmated from the transmission.. now I just can't get the back to slide out of the pinion flange.

Any ideas? This is driving me crazy and I'm almost out of sunlight..

edit: I have a feeling some loktite came out the holes and has bonded the driveshaft to the pinion flange and as a result of the extremely cold temperatures is just too hard to break the bond. I've got no wheels atm as my car has no driveshaft on it but a friend is bringing me a torch tonight.. so I'll just try that as it weakens the loktite bond, if nobody has any other suggestions.

sorry i don't have any better ideas for you than a BFH
those things are really tight sometimes and just need to be convinced their departure is necessary. after persuading mine a few times with a 5lb Chevy wrench it saw things my way. now when i change them on other cars it's the first thing i do to remove the stock shaft from the CV joint flange.

A few good whacks with a 10lb sledge and it came right off, thanks.

I had the same problem. After I had the front and middle of the shaft disconnected, I grabbed the front of the shaft with a slide hammer and after two or three good wacks it came right off.
