My brother has 4.3's on his 2000. I'll go for 4.10's.

4.3's are just too much for our hp. IMO with our beastly 3v's.

Oh, btw, his pulls like a mother trucker

If you are using your car as a DD I would not get 4.30 because your will be shifting like a mad man. Your gears will be so short. Only get 4.30 for a track car and for DD get 4.10s. Some people might think other but w/e idc lol

it's probably a little much for the street but I've found that these cars love gear and the lower the better(higher numerically). i had 3.73's then switched to 4.30's and gained another tenth + 3-4 mph. now I've switched to a 28" tall e.t. street and it actually lost a couple mph so I'm going to switch in a set of 4.56's or if i swap in a 9" I'll go a little steeper....like 4.88 maybe
**i do not drive mine everyday but even with the 4.30's it still gets 17mph average and cruises 2600rpms at 70-75mph.(3.73's cruise 80-85mph @2600rpms) it's definitely too much gear to be cruising at 110mph now but man it pulls strong and yes it will roast the tires into 4th if you just mash the pedal.
if you are considering a power adder in the future you may want to stick with 3.90 or 4.10's but for the n/a cars don't be afraid of too much.... it can't happen. we are limited to 4.56's anyway in the 8.8 without going to a spool etc.

I started with 4.10 and now 4.30. I think I will go to 4.56 soon. I have not run at the strip YET but this thing never stops pulling!!

I don't see how you guys with some short *** gears are getting any usable power to the ground..
would'nt you all be too busy shifting?? does it just stay in the red zone?lol..
