Default Aftermarket Girdle?

Someday i plan on some serious power whether it be FI or n20, but with my income tax check i plan on getting 4.10's how necessary is it and/or how much does a new aftermarket girdle strengthen the rear ends?

I installed 4.10's in mine with the FRPP Diff. Girdle. I did it because I thought it "looks cool" though, not because it is necessary, which it is not. It is supposed to strengthen the rear end some though, but I'm not for sure how much.

There are way more important things you will need!

How do you like the 4.10's? i see you havea 5spd also. Does 1st gear really fly by as quickly as everyone says?

It goes by pretty quick, but pulls really hard like it should. I love the 4.10's! This is how the car should have come from the factory. You will be able to spin your tires in 1st, 2nd, and chirp them hardshifting to 3rd.

Just make sure you find a shop that will guarantee the installation not to howl in writing, or else it can turn into a nightmare of frustration with gear wine and howl if it is not done exactly right.

It took me 3shops to get it right (and that was having the dealership do it the first time). So I can't stress the importance of the installation enough.
