I got my 2008 with the 3.55 and I have driven 3.31, a 4.10, and of course my 3.55s and to be honest, as much fun the 4.10s were off the line, for top speed and mileage, I'm glad I have 3.55s. They are really fun for anyone looking to buy a new stang and don't want to take it to the track other than every so often.

For the autos to go up to 3.55's doesnt make much sense to me for the cash you have to invest.

Go to at least 3.73's. Thats a fun gear. Oh and uh, expect your gas mileage to drop, too. At 70mph with a tail wind, I now get 22mpg. [:'(]

For the guys with 3.31s, more reason to get 4.10s!

If a person raced theirs.....yes. If a daily driver who wanted a fast car that gets 27-30 mpg on the highway, then........no. It all depends on the person just like all the other possible mods.
Sure....that goes without saying man.

FWIW, I have 4.10s and I drive the German Autobahns....4.10s aren't as aggressive as everyone thinks, but yes, personal preference always dictates.

Has anyone done this with 3.55 vs 4.10's? I'm looking at upgrading soon.
