Default cops

Ok so i tried to use the search for about the last month and i never works so im sorry about the repost. I looking in to a set of COP's. Who makes the best ones with the best gains. How much (whp) have people gained from this mod? I know they use the famous "Up to 15 horsepower" but we all know how the "up to" thing works. I wanna know what people have seen from it. Thank you

I have the summit racing cops which are accel's rebranded. They work great not really a power increase for me but more of a driveablity upgrade. The car a more alive and has smoother acceleration.

I installed mine the same time as my UDP's. I know the seat of the pants feels was noticable. I think its worth the upgrade.

I have run GMS COPs and MSD COPs. I ran them naturally aspirated and with my KB.
They are good for about 8 RWHP on N/A cars and 10-14 RWHP on most blown cars.
GMS Hard Core or Pro Series are the best IMHO but cost the most.

Hi zkiller, I was thinking of purchasing some aftermarket COPs. Was it measurable increase in power with the COPs. Also did you upgrade the ignition in addition to the COPs?

No ignition upgrade, tuneor anything needed to go with aftermarket COPs.
They make your car run smoother, pull a lil harder less hesitation. They completely eliminate spark blow out on forced induction.
It is a good mod but even better for forced induction. I still like them on my car when it was N/A.

Sounds like there are specific brands (i.e., GMS and MSD) that wil provide some RWHP increase if I read this right...
