Default exhuast question

i am in the position of trying to figure out which exhuast setup i want. i just looked over bresnpeeds options and i found the magnaflow magnapacks(?) i liked it cuz it was the catback setup and the others were only axle back. is it a true axle back and is it worth it to get it over an axle back cuz im wanting to get x pipe asap.

Catbacks won't get you anything over axlebacks. And you can still replace the stock H with an X. The stock exhaust flows well so, IMO, catbacks are a waste of $$.

There are a lot of great choices so don't jump-the-gun. I have the FRPP Stingers (also referred to as the GT's and Borla Stingers) and they're magnificent except for some cabin drone in the 1500-1800 RPM range. The FRPP GTA's are a bit quieter with no drone but still a nice improvement in tone over stock. There are many others to pick from.

i have flowmasters on my car right now. idk what kind they are cuz they were on there when i bougth the car. i was going to just run with those and put and x pipe on there but i talked to the guys at carfx and they said i had the worst kind of axle back to run xpipes with so thats why im looking around. i liked the sound of the magnaflows and i just saw they had the cat back option. so of course me as a newb with this car( i have had it for 6 months) i think oh catback is better that axle back of course.

x pipe and flows don't sound good. Don't mess with a catback, if you want to really change the sound, go with an offroad setup and possibly a new axleback. What kind of sound are you looking for, is drone a problem? There isn't really a performance exhaust for our cars. mostly just for sound. Long tubes may net you 10-15rwhp with a tune adjusted? I don't have any experience with an x pipe, but bassani makes a good x pipe and check out their axlebacks.
