iPod interface

iPod interface
The uPAC-FRD24 interface is a multi input media device compatible with select Ford/Lincoln/Mercury CANbus radios. The 2 inputs will support any of the following combinations: iPod/Auxiliary, iPod/HD Radio (HD Radio sold separately) or Auxiliary/HD Radio (HD Radio sold separately). The iPod input can be used with full control from the radio or full control from the iPod. The uPAC-FRD24 works with both 6-disc CD changer radios and navigation radios up to 2009. If a factory SAT tuner or DVD video system is present, it will continue to operate as well. The optional HD Radio tuner is part number uPAC-HDRT.
So the explanation above is what I had done. I have an iPod and wanted to control it through my Shaker 500 radio but because it came with satellite radio I am not able to have the artists name nor the song name scroll. So if the name of either is longer than the radio face then you only see part of the names. Has anyone encountered this problem?
Thanks

I've got a similar input that I put in my 06, and the names don't scroll. I don't think they scroll from CDs either. Doesn't really bug me, but after looking through my manuals, haven't seen anything that might fix it.

I got the iSimple adapter from Best Buy to hook up to my Shaker 500. Before I had my mustang, I had a JVC ipod adapter for my JVC headunit in my Explorer. I liked the way it worked, easy to get through, of course that was when I was using my 4 gig Nano. Now that I got a 120 gig Classic that has all my music on it, I'm not too happy with having to scroll through all the different playlists, or folders, or Artists on my Shaker 500 cuz it's a pita. I'm considering taking out my Shaker 500 and putting in a different unit like the Pioneer F90bt (I think that was the model #) because the interface just works well.
