so i bought a Vortech SC kit for my 05 gt. Bought it 2nd hand. The intake that came with it appears to be an OBX intake, which ot me seems like a really cheap intake. Is this the intake that normally comes with the kit? i highly doubt it is.im just checking thanks

the vortech intake aint great, but I've not found an aftermarket one that'll work with the kit

Need some pics up of that. Paxton/Vortech intake IMO sucks, would be interested to see what you have on there. Is is routed differently than factory or what?

 

ill get pics up later tonite. Well first off it looks like im missing half of it. I see part of the intake and the filter itself and im pretty sure i saw an OBX tag on pipe itself. Ill check into it alil more and get pics up.

 

What do you mean missing half of it? All you have to do is look, follow from the tb to the filter and see if anything is not connected??

well its not installed yet, winter project. But after going thru the boxes, it looked like i was missing either that pipe that comes out of the TB or the part the filter goes on. Ill know more once im home from work.

got it second hand, off another forum. looks to be in good shape and all the main pieces there, ill have to go thru it again to see if i can find the other half of my intake
