Default LT headers...

Where can I find the best deal for some? I've found a set on Ebay that comes w/h pipe for $550, but noticed that they're 1.5", whereas most other LT's are 1 5/8"...

Ideally, I'd like to find a used set on here, so if you're selling, PM me! Otherwise, where could I look to find some and what are good brands?

sounds like you want something thats relatively cheap. BBK or Mac is the cheapest i would go. ARH or Kooks are probly the best quality, but the most expensive too. i got my BBK ceramic coated LT's and BBK o/r x pipe from jegs for 750, and they've been holding up for 2 years very well. you can also try one of the vendors on this site.

How does the off road x sound with the headers? Powerful, or raspy?

I paid $899 for SLP LT headers and catted x pipe from rpmoutlet.com (couple of years ago), they come T302 and ceramic coated standard, you can get KOOKS with catted x-pipe on jegs.com or dynotech with matching midpipe on brenspeed.com but those are in the $1200 range, how much do you want to spend total, and do you want to switch your axebacks at the same time?

Do you race, going to add supercharger in future?

a lot has to do w/ the mufflers or axle backs also. mine is not too raspy, but the x pipe will be more raspy than the h. as for the vendors, you can check the main forum page for the list of vendors. brenspeed and lethalperformance are good ones to check.

What kind of power gains can I expect from LT's? Some sites claim 30-40hp, other people have said only around 6rwhp. I won't be supercharging anytime soon and here is everything that's on the car:

-Steeda CAI w/Saleen EXTREME 98mm inlet tube
-Xcal2 w/custom tune from a local SCT tuner
-Pype's mid-muffler system
-Steeda UDP's

If the gains from LT's are only around 10hp, that seems like a lot of time and money. What do you guys think?

I got a solid +10 rwhp/rwtq (dyno proven) when adding LT headers/ hi flo catted X pipe.
I am using bigger primaries 1 3/4 inch because I will get a blower eventually, 1 5/8 inch may give you a litter more hp/tq on a N/A motor, a good dyno tune will help as well !!

I have the SLP LTs and x-pipe with hi-flow cats. I picked up over 20rwhp. I have the ones that are ceramic coated. Click on the link in my sig to hear what they sound like with Flowmasters.
