Default "Loading the suspension" question

Hello everyone. Okay so talking about installing suspension components (springs, LCAs, etc). Understand that when installing most of these things, the nuts/bolts need to be torqued to spec while the suspension is at normal ride height, or static height, as I've heard it called too. Easy enough for the rear, you just use a jack under the differential or a axle stand if the car is on a lift, and get the axle to the proper height. Question is what about the front? Do you actually "load" the front suspension in any way when putting on new struts/springs, etc? Or is it not necessary the way it is set up? Couldn't really find anything by searching or the how-tos. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!

yes a drive on lift works well and is stupid easy,
for the diy home version, jack the rear just high enough to get under it and block the fronts and jackstand wide out on the axel shaft and that should work for you
