Default Hurst Shifter Question??

I just got a 06 Gt with 35k on it. It has a hurst shifter in it, and I feel like my 3-4 pull is harder than it is with a normal shifter, anyone else have this problem? Or is it just not broken in yet? It always goes into 4th, it just feels like it needs more help than it does from 2-3..any suggestions? thanks guys.

I don't see the 3-4 being harder than the 2-3, it shouldn't be. The shifts in every gear with the hurst are higher effort than stock though.

No difference in mine. you will have a bit of a notchy feeling along with the extra effort needed to shift.

Not to repeat everything that has already been said but I don't have any problems with mine. Love the feel when shifting. Kinda of like being shot out of a gun, you hear the click and boom!!!!!! gone.

Since the shift linkage is a remote style when you are applying power the trans and engine will twist a bit causing the shifter to go into gear a bit harder at higher rpms. Make sure you are shifting at the same rpms as a comparison.
