poor throttle response & slow to gain rpms at times auto trans seems to lose or gain 100 hp at times you can be in the throttle just seems like will suddenly gain or lose power ,throttle response is mostly constant but at times power will just fade,or nail you to the seat all stock dealer said will get better after cam phasers get more miles said about 12000 at about 19000 car ran and performed like you would think a sports car should stayed that way for about 4000 miles and now is back like it was before.also noticed gas milege about 16 or 17 mpg during power period now about 19 or 20 these are aves. said ford knew about issues. whats the fix any ideas

Letsee if I can take a shot of deciphering this..
"poor throttle response & slow to gain rpms"
you have an automatic 300hp 3550lbs car with a stock tune. this is normal.
"at times auto trans seems to lose or gain 100 hp at times you can be in the throttle just seems like will suddenly gain or lose power "
transmisions dont gain or lose power
"throttle response is mostly constant but at times power will just fade,or nail you to the seat" that depends on how far you push the gas pedal down
"all stock dealer said will get better after cam phasers get more miles said about 12000 at about 19000 car ran and performed like you would think a sports car should stayed that way for about 4000 miles and now is back like it was before" errr???!! im confused..
".also noticed gas milege about 16 or 17 mpg during power period now about 19 or 20 these are aves" 16-17mpg in city and 19-20 in lighter traffic or more 50mph can account for that change.
Alright.. You can probably fix all of your issues with a CAI+Tune from bama or brenspeed.
or do a dyno test to make sure everything is where it should be power and A/F ratio is supposed to be. Then take it to the 1/4 Mile and post your slip.
sorry if it sounds like I'm making fun of you here (which I am) but it's hard to determine how something feels. If there are no check engine lights, no codes saying something is wrong then having some power tests might be the only way to be certain everything is how it should be.
