Default newbie question?

i have question for you guys . i recently put borla stingers on my car. it has a catted xpipe on it . i dont really like the way it sounds. kinnda raspy. would i be happier with say a pypes o/r h pipe ?

O/R mid will make it somewhat louder and a bit deeper, but sound is for the most part determined by the mufflers. Try different mufflers, you can check out just about any popular muffler setup on youtube. Sound quality of the video need be considered.

yeah well i just bought these mufflers . from what i see on here people love these mufflers. i like the way they sound but they get gargly and raspy at some point. i thought i read the hipipe gives a deeper tone.

Ok now, you asked for it... An absolutely Amazing sound is in this order for your budget...
Borla Stingers, Kook's Long Tube Headers with High Flow Catted H-pipe, and HotRod or Thumper Cams..
However, Just the High flow catted H-pipe will do away with the Gargly Raspy sound that you have and will give you the old deeper muscle car sound if that's what you are looking for !!

sweet thats what i was hoping to hear. yes i plan to do long tube headers down the road but i got a good deal on ebay for a pypes o/r h pipe . and i was hoping for a deeper sound. without cat will it be alot louder?

Ya....will be louder but can be illegal in some States...
