Default Drag Radials

Has anyone ran or heard anything about the new Hoosier drag radials or the new Toyo drag radials? I typed in 275 40 17 drag radials on ebay and there are four different brands that show up. The Mickey Thompsons, the Hoosiers, BFG's and the Toyos. I know the Mickey Thompsons hook really well but was curious about the Hoosiers and the Toyos.

I hear most people like to run M&H or Nitto 555Rs.. not sure about the ones you mentioned.

I run M/T drag radials and they are awesome (1.56--60' with 305/35/18). Heard good things about M&H but never used them.
Nittos suck at the track, for the street they are ok but no way compare to MTs or M&Hs.

Same here.

I've had BFG, which were good. MT DRs, which were good too and now I have the ET Streets cheater slicks which are supposed to be the best.

holy cow.. with a 60ft'er like that I could be pulling 12.9s like nothing lol.

My times range anywhere from 2.0 to 2.5..

^^ needs practice.

I would like the 26X11.50-17LT ET streets but I am confused. On the mickey Thompson website it does not show my rim width for these tires but the same size 26X11.50-17 drag radial says it is okay for my rim width. I run 17 X 9 rims and have 275-40-17's on them right now which is the same size as the 26X11.50-17. Can I run the ET streets on my wheels? Also, what psi should I run on the ET streets and on the Drag radials?

I run ET Streets on OEM 17" wheels which are only 8" wide. The tread width on ET Streets is 9.5" so you are more than ok with a 9" wheel. I usually run my ET Streets at around 14 psi.

Not sure who you are asking. The ET Streets I run aren't drag radials, they are bias ply tires, I only use them at the track. You don't want to get caught in any kind of rain on these tires. I run my regular wheels (18s) and tires on the front at the track (the ones pictured in my sig).
