Why does everyone recommend radials for the track? If it's going to be a track-only tire anyway, go with bias plys. Much better wrinkle and hook.

Weight reduction:
Rear seat delete (MMR) They say up to 40lb loss
Lighter front seats (CORBEAU) Around 60lb loss
K-Member and A-Arms (Racecraft) 22lb loss
Al Driveshaft Around 25lb loss
Sway bar delete (CHE) 28lb loss
Lightweight Batter (Odyssey) 17lb loss (put in rear for weight dist.)
A/C system 38lbs
Everything in trunk 45lb loss
Drag wheels ~48lbs (not exactly sure)

All together that is like 336lbs. This kind of weight loss would be like gaining 40rwhp. Mind you, when it comes to gaining HP you have to add weight too... Blower, Roll bar etc...
