There are deals to be found. If you are ready to buy now, here's the E-force kit for $4.9K at Dallas Mustang... using the 10% off "DAD" code.

Well I am one of the few that have gone both routes....1st a centri (P1SC).....then a 67mm turbo.....then a 76mm on the same S197.

The Procharger was great. Zero issues at about 9lbs boost. Nice for daily driver who is not into light to light exchanges. Then 67mm turbo. Very nice also for daily use. Really no lag and way more rear wheel torque than the Centri. Started to build up car at this point and ran 16 lbs boost. Then the 76mm which had noticeable lag on the street, compared to the 67mm, but once the boost kicked...better have all wheels pointed in the same direction, and pulled in 3rd gear at 30 mph stronger than a Viper.

With latest build, it's off the street for good. Was at 22 lbs boost, now expecting 25+ lbs with new build. Everything that is being done to the car with the turbo, could be accomplished with the correct supercharger setup.

I think im going to go with either E Force or Saleen. Prob save up a little bit more and buy around december time and put it on before next summer. How do these kits hold up in winter? What are differences between the two?

I have a pair of perfectly good snails (actually a complete STS twin kit) just collecting dust in the basement. $4500 is all it would take for my tuner to custom fab a set of manifolds, install and tune. Hopefully, business will pick up enough in the next couple of months that by next summer I'll have my own home brew eco-boosted Mustang. I was planning on forging/stroking first, but today is Friday.
