The 4.10's and Hot Rods are going in next Thursday!

I'm so pumped.
4.10's with new bearings and all, Hot Rod Cams,
Baseline Dyno pull, Custom dyno tune.

1800 out the door.

Going to bring it in next Thursday like I said.
They said they could do it in one day but I told them to keep it for two so they don't feel rushed.
They also told me I could video the dyno's too.

So I will be making a full weekend out of it.
Will also stay Saturday to go to Hurricane Harbor with my girl and some relatives.
I am sure Thursday will be shopping day for the women and part of Friday too. I told them to make sure to call me before the dyno runs and tuning so that I could get it on film.

Im so pumped.

Congrats Blacksmoke, I would love to come up there and here the car when you pick it up since I'm only about 15 minutes from the shop. Keep me posted on the pick up time.

I ordered my Hot Rods from American Muscle today and have contacted Chris Rose about the tune. I will be installing them myself along with CMCV Delete Plates which I already have, so I will be a couple of weeks behind you !

 

it's going to be glorious! i think that is a good price too, for all they are doing.

can't wait to hear your first impressions of the new cams and gears.

 

That's parts and labor? I'm considering the same mods as well.

 

Mine is going in the shop Tuesday, June 22.

I just installed a set of Delete plates and a MSVT 60mm Throttle body. I am getting the JLT 110 maf CAI at the same time I have the cams installed.

This way I can get several things done with my tune in one dyno session.

 

That price it out the door. Parts, labor, baseline dyno, and dyno tune.
Everything.

I have no clue what to expect on numbers.
Like I said right now all I have is the C&L CAI and the Brenspeed 91 tune.

Do gears actually add torque numbers on the dyno? I don't think they do but I'm not sure.

 

Seems like a solid deal for all that stuff. The cams and gears have to be close to $1000 alone, so an additional 800 for labor, misc gaskets, dyno runs/tuning seems great.

The gears+cams should definitely give you a lil throttle in your straight 6.
