Default Tune recommendations

Ok guys I am new here and have a question. I bought a used predator tuner for my c&l racer cai. Just placed an order through bamachips for 1 tune since they do not offer tunes for life with the predator. Anyways, I need recommendations on what tune to put on this daily driver 07 GT?. The octane lvls in my state are 87/89/91. I do plan on buying a 2nd tune here sometime soon.

91 ofcourse. If you're paying money might as well get the most power you can. IMO that's the whole point of modifications.

How is mileage with 91 race compared to 91 performance?

I can't really tell a difference between the two.

MPG depends on how hard and how often you mash the "go" pedal.

You bought a GT, forget worrying about mpg. Drive the car with enthusiasm, enjoy it, fill tank when empty with premium, keep having fun.

Although the 91 octane will provide the most performance, it may not necessarily be the best choice for daily driving. An 87 custom tune provides a significant performance increase over the stock 87 tune. After that, the higher octanes offer a bit more power but also have different characteristics; some of which may make you decide on one tune over another for your DD.

I'm curious; you say Bama (now AM) is offering tunes for the Diablo? I was under the impression that they dropped Diablo when they "merged" with AM.

Yeah I called them up and they quoted me $50 a tune, but no tunes for life for the predator. I went ahead and submitted for the 91 race tune and will try this out for awhile and then will either buy the 87 or 89 performance tune.

I would definitely go with the 91 octane. As you know the higher the octane the cleaner the fuel is, so i would go with the best available.
