Default CD Changer

Im new to this site & need some help! I own an 08 GT & the battery recently went dead.I charged it back up & now the 6 disc Shaker 500 cd changer wont work!! It had 5 cds in it when the battery died & now its saying there is none in it! any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks

There are some recalibration procedures in the OM for other electronics but I don't recall one for the Shaker. Before freaking out, I'd disconnect the battery for about 20 minutes and see if the Shaker resets.

Best thing I ever did with the Shaker system was to replace the heads in both cars with Pioneer heads...sounds so much better and no longer have these screwed up problems..

I actually disconnected the battery overnite with no luck. guess i will just have to replace the unit.thanks for the help,its greatly appreciated!!!

Im with you. im on my way to purchase a new head unit but i would much rather put the 5 or 6 hundred that a new head unit toward the Whipple i want to purchase!!! O well,cant always get what you want!!! Thanks for the reply!!
