Oops... I am a noob. Been posting questions in wrong places. Lol at me. Anyway I have become very involved in this damn car and need input. I am trading my smith and Wesson for a saleen hood and wheel spacers, both installed, my tech says that its better to trim the OEM springs than get lowering springs. What do u think? Also doing frpp. 4'10 gears.

The 4.10's are a good choice, especially from FRPP. Stay away from the Motive gears.

"Triming" the OE springs isn't your best route. Find Sam Strano in the S197 Handling forum and discuss this with him. Based on your desire of what you want from the car, he can point you in the best directions to go. Cutting your OE springs is... n*%#)-rigging, IMO. Plus, you won't be able to return to stock if the need should ever arise unless you buy another set.

Lowering kits are not pricey, just buy a real kit man.
