I just got a new battery and now my engine pulses when I'm idling. It has done this once before, and I was told to drain the battery and jump start the car, with all accessories turned off. This seemed to work so I'm going to do it again, but I was just wondering what was causing the pulse and what did draining the battery and jump starting it do to fix it. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!
