Exhaust Pipe Size?

Hey, I'm new to the forum so hopefully I'll get this post right the first time. Anyway, I'm about to order exhaust cutouts from Jegs.com, and I'm trying to figure out what size I should get. I think I need to get the 2.5 inch cutouts, but I want to make sure before I order them. Thanks for any help you can give!

Factory Mustang exhaust diameter is 2.5", you're correct.

I haven't decided yet, but once I have them on I'll post some pictures.

I decided to put them right after the cats where the piping levels out. Eventually, I'll get an o/r x-pipe, and delete my O2 sensors, but as of now the cats are too close to the exhaust manifold to put them before. I'll post pics after they are installed.
