Thumbs down need some help

Ok so I left my cousin in pep boys so he could pick up his car, when I tried toshift from reverse to first something popped and my clutch pedal stopped working I think the clutch cable broke. I also found a little plastic thing on the floor when this happen

looks like the end of the rod from the clutch master cylinder

Without looking at mine, I'd say you busted part of a cable/rod end connector.

A guy on S197 I think just posted his fix for this, he put it back together with a hose clamp. Use some epoxy too. Otherwise you have to replace the whole cylinder
